Timo Nuoranne

Timo Nuoranne is the professor of choral conducting at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf, Germany since 2014.

From 1996 to 2014 he taught choral conducting at the Sibelius Academy and conducted various choirs, including the Finnish Radio Chamber Choir, Jubilate, and the Tampere Philharmonic Choir. Nuoranne has worked as a guest conductor with various choirs around Europe, including the RIAS Chamber Choir, the Flemish Radio Choir, and the Danish Radio Choir. In 2002-2006 he worked as a guest professor at The Elisabeth University of Music in Hiroshima, Japan. A visiting position with the choir Cappella Romana took him to Seattle and Portland on the west coast of the USA for the second time in 2017 after a successful first visit in 2014.
