Kaie Tanner is an Estonian choral conductor, cultural manager and one of the leading figures in Estonian and European choral culture. She graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in choral conducting and later completed a master’s degree in cultural management. She currently serves as General Secretary of the Estonian Choral Association and conducts several children’s and youth choirs of Estonian Radio. Kaie Tanner is also a board member of the International Federation for Choral Music (IFCM) and president of the Choral Festival Network. For more than two decades she has organised major international choral events, including Tallinn International Choir Festivals and several EUROPA CANTAT and IFCM projects. She is widely respected for her work in international choral cooperation, festival development and the promotion of Baltic and Nordic choral traditions.
